If the DirectX renderer is used, BS Contact adds a few entries to the right click menu that allow to select the mode of 3D acceleration. Depending of the hardware capabilities the menu entries Software, Hardware, Hardware T&L> and others are available.

In Software mode, no acceleration is performed by the graphics card and not all rendering features may be available. In Hardware mode full advantage of the acceleration and rendering features of the graphics card is taken.
